Jackie’s finally Wed

Nov. 22, 2010 – Was Richard and Jackie’s big day. The day they of their union and now Mr & Mrs Richard Besmanos. Which was I suppose unexpectedly very successful for Jackie, both of them, because everything was in rush, like they were still finishing the giveaways hours before the nuptials and the worries Jackie had, about everything like food might not be enough, friends or colleagues might storm the event and that they won’t get treated well and all those normal worries of a bride. But then great things happen to good people. And absolutely Jackie is one of those people, and it was quite evident on her wedding celebration.

At the wedding, I was asked to give both of them a message, I knew somehow it was coming and there’s no way escaping but here comes the shy me, always afraid to talk in front of a lot of peole. Well, oh Well, i thought ‘here comes nothing’ so I just told them what came to mind – to ” always love, respect and trust each other” and “always put God in the center of their marriage”. That ‘s all I got to utter hahaha! Sorry Jack, you know me I hope you didn’t expect much hahaha!

But later on I thought, I should have given a better message and this came:

“I’ve known Jacky for a very long time, it was in DOST SOEP that I first met her, and then the rest was history and we were inseparable (char lang hehe!)in college, we are really good friends, the opposite of David and Golliath hahaha!

After college we kinda took separate jobs and rarely sees each other but we do communicate often.  And November last year, and exactly one year, at one of our

rare meetings, she told me she has a boyfriend and she asked me if I could go with her in Dumaguete to meet her boyfriend for the first time. But there were a lot of constraints that I couldn’t come, fare is one. But then nothing stopped her even going alone. And the next thing I knew, June this year, she’s pregnant and will get married soon, and that is absolutely fast!

So right now I’m wishing both of them all the best anyone could imagine. Praying our Almighty God shower them with nonstop blessings in every form. Wish them a very good health for them to provide for their family’s needs. And that they will forever respect and cherish each other. And as a new chapter of your lives unfold, may YOU BOTH LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!”
